Fruit Smothies : You are what you Drink

                           Remember in elementary school our teachers would remind us all that you are what you eat . We at the Miami Style Blog want to say you are what you drink as well. Why not give your body something to be happy to digest instead of soft drinks that will harm you in the long run. In this section of the blog we wanted to provide you some great smoothie receipes that you will love to prepare and drink time and time again.



The Banana Ginger Smoothie

Do you have issues with digestion , nausea, heart burn or other stomach related issues ? This smoothie would be ideal for you.

RECEIPE

• 1 banana, sliced
• ¾ c (6 oz) vanilla yogurt
• 1 Tbsp honey
• ½ tsp freshly grated ginger

Combine the banana, yogurt, honey, and ginger. Blend until smooth.

Serving size : 2 

Green Tea Blueberry and Banana

Receipe:

• 3 Tbsp water
• 1 green tea bag
• 2 tsp honey
• 1½ c frozen blueberries
• ½ med banana
• ¾ c calcium fortified light vanilla soy milk

1. Microwave water on high until steaming hot in a small bowl. Add tea bag and allow to brew 3 minutes. Remove tea bag. Stir honey into tea until it dissolves.
2. Combine berries, banana, and milk in a blender with ice crushing ability.
3. Add tea to blender. Blend ingredients on ice crush or highest setting until smooth. (Some blenders may require additional water to process the mixture.) Pour smoothie into tall glass and serve.

serving size : 1 person 

Strawberry Kiwi Smoothie 

Receipe:

• 1¼ c cold apple juice
• 1 ripe banana, sliced
• 1 kiwifruit, sliced
• 5 frozen strawberries
• 1½ tsp honey

Combine the juice, banana, kiwifruit, strawberries, and honey. Blend until smooth

A Sweet treat for your Sweet tooth : Big Londas Kitchen

Everyone loves a buttery tasting cupcake  or a  delicious vanilla dipped strawberry from time to time  but sometimes we can not find the right catering service who can deliver. We see all the photos on the website and fall in love at first sight but never on first bite. We had the extreme pleasure of Interviewing Big  Londa's kitchen this past weekend in Miami Florida. 

 

Story of Big Londa's Kitchen

      Londa used to work as a caterer for a big catering company in Miami and one day she decided to go on her own. She is an experienced chef for over 15 years and can slay a cake or two as you can tell. We love her courage to venture out on her own and believe me one taste from her flavorful dishes will have you scheduling your next event catered by her.

                   I just follow my passion to create . I love to make people happy as much as I can through my presentation.

We had the pleasure of meeting the owner of Forever 22 our number 1 nail technician in Miami in many occasions and have decided why not feature this amazing woman on the blog. At Forever 22 all clients are pampered with great conversation , pleasant smiles and amazing results. Even at this nail spa you have a client appreciation day where this company appreciates the customers who have stuck by their brand and have an appreciation dinner.  I know that you are thinking and you're probably saying yea right but I was there and the lobster tails were fabulous.

Hottest Makeup looks for Summer 18'

It's time for  glowing skin, perfectly lined lips, highlighter, bronzed cheek bones, beautiful brows and a lot of confidence. Makeup in the summertime is a beautiful time in the fashion world. You can see women of all shapes and forms glowing in the summer sun.

How to achieve that popping eye color you ask. When applying eye shadow you have to prime the eyelid  You can use a eyelid primer or  concealer . Some colors won't pop as strong depending on the pigmentation of the muses skin so make sure the primer is on the lid to avoid that.
When applying foundation make sure you have a simple moisturizer to put on as a base first, then apply the primer, foundation face powder and then mist with a setter.

    Learn your tools each tool should hold a special value . So make sure you know exactly how to sanitize your tools so you can have glowing skin . Not sanitizing your tools can cause harmful bacteria to the face .

Be Creative - Tribute to Gianni Versace

It's been quite sometime that we have posted on our blog but reassured we are back . Our focal point in this blog post about being creative. Most people assume that creativity isn't something to be idolized for. Some say be creative but with restrictions . Gianni showed the world when he was alive fashion was bold, cuts were wild and patterns were ideal. His colorful choices of patterns, fabric and design shocked the entire world. When looking at a design by him it was original , fun , refreshing and bold.
Why not be bold right it's what we all live for? To be the one who stands out from the crowd. The diamond in the rough so to speak. We wanted to pay a tribute blog to him for it's been years since his passing and fashion has never been the same but in all fairness Gianni opened the doorways for emerging designers who were afraid to be themselves .

The Miami Style: What inspired you to get into social networking

Edgy Social Media:

I kept trying to find my niche in social media. It seemed all the sites were blue and white. Very boring. I became tired of constantly reading mba level business material and trying to turn it into information that my customers would find interesting enough to read. Everyone kept saying it was "Greek" when I would speak the secret language of B2B or C2B or ROI.
Then I began seeing tricks celebrities were using in social media to gather more followers. I remember writing my first blog "Celebrity Social Media Tips and Tricks." All of a sudden people became interested. When I searched on the story items in was fresh, new and relevant information. No longer boring because it was lively with the times.
People were finally reading my blogs, facebook pages, commenting and sharing. They were coming up with their own finds. Our sales items are as a result.
